OBJECTIVE

I produce promotional, motivational and training videos. My background began in the corporate world and I’ve been consulting since the mid-90’s. My skills include producing, editing, writing and photography, and my goal is to deliver excellent products and excellent service. I have a fun-loving attitude and enthusiasm for creative communications.

BACKGROUND

My background includes teaching production techniques, managing corporate AV departments, and developing training materials in every medium.

2000-Present

I produce and edit training and promotional programs, teasers, independent shorts, music and vanity videos. I also shoot stills and video, design posters, video graphics and promotional materials. I work with a variety of digital graphic design programs, video editing systems, 2D and 3D applications and web design tools. I strive to make my productions fun and memorable and to always deliver more than expected.

1998-2000

Producer/writer/editor/videographer/photographer: Kitchen Sync Productions, Burbank.

KSP specialized in digital video, still image/graphics production and consulting for training and special events for the food service industry.

1989-1998

Producer/writer/editor/videographer/photographer: Valley Industrial Communications, Pasadena, CA

I provided corporate clients full-service A/V production. Manufacturing, Quality Control, Sales and Physician Training programs, national sales meetings, conventions, employee motivation and product demonstration. And an occasional surfing video.

In addition to free-lance projects, I was under contract to Pharmacia Ophthalmics for six years, where I:

~ Produced and organized AV materials for training sessions, sales meetings and conventions.
~ Dealt directly with top management, sales force, and distinguished surgeons from around the world.
~ Created and maintained their corporate video news magazine promoting Total Quality Management.
~ Trained and managed in-house teams in writing, story-boarding and production techniques.

1987-1989

Producer/Director/Editor/Graphics Design: Welcome to Wetzel's Pretzels II. Updated version of the 2003 half hour primer for franchisees and their employees. Produced in English and Spanish. (Wetzel's Pretzels, 2006)

Redesign: Poster and promotional materials for The Gun. Acclaimed Russian director Vladimir Alenikov's first US feature film premieres in Moscow, so all promotional materials are updated with Russian text. (Front Line Films, 2006)
