The memory of Chick Hearn was honored twice today.

The official ceremony at Staples Center featured the hanging of a special Chick jersey alongside those of other Laker legends. Earlier, 40,000 spectators at the Doo Dah Parade were thrilled to see Chick Hearn impersonators swinging to the song stylings of Desperation Squad (voted Pasadena's #1 Band for 2002).
